Can a VPS/Cloud Server be used as a Game Server

The simple answer is, yes.  However this largely depends on the resources available on your VPS with the operating system and any other services running.  Most of the lower end VPS specifications will be fine to run a game server on, as long as it is the only service running - otherwise you may need to upgrade.  Contact sales@astutium.com if you need a quotation or to discuss the available options.
